I’m a California native, but now currently reside in Boulder, Colorado. I can remember racing the Norba National Series as a JR X and thinking to myself, why is everyone from Colorado so fast? I made the decision to attend the University of Colorado in Boulder to pursue a degree in environmental design with an emphasis in architecture and see what’s in the water. The water is pretty fresh, but don’t think that’s it! It’s the big climbs, thin air, and competitive atmosphere. Boulder isn’t really that high (5,400’), but I can roll out and immediately begin climbing non-stop for literally hours. I am excited to continue spreading the great word in 2011 to the rocky mountain region about Marin bikes.
