The team member young enough to be someones child, Mike has been racing bikes since he was a young teenager. Raised in the wet and rowdy northwest, Mike is a gentle giant ready to take on the best of the northwests’ endurance mountain bike races. other than strapping up with a number plate, mike loves to get lost in the woods, and occasionally writes and takes photos of these ‘donner party’ style adventures. He is a lanky young fellow, and would look absolutely ridiculous on a downhill bike, no matter how many pads he had on. Outside of mountain biking, mike is a hard-working college student, brand ambassador for a slurry of sports nutrition companies, endurance trail runner, and just a goofy guy. Look for him tearing it up at a modest speed in the pacific northwest. Mike enjoys the product development aspect of racing, as well as wrenching. He was a mechanic for a team in RAAM 2010, and is returning as a racer in the 2011 edition of RAAM
